Welcome to Bates Corporation. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of batescorp.com, as well as all purchases made through our website, by phone, or in person. By accessing our website or placing an order with Bates Corporation, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any portion of these Terms, please do not use our website or purchase our products.
Bates Corporation reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. Any changes will become effective immediately upon posting to our website. Continued use of our website or services following the posting of changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.

Products & Descriptions
Bates Corporation offers a wide range of new, used, rebuilt IH & Case IH tractor parts. Product photographs and descriptions are provided for reference purposes only. Used and rebuilt parts may show signs of prior use, and cosmetic appearance may vary. Such variations do not affect the functional integrity of the part. Customers are responsible for ensuring product compatibility prior to placing an order unless compatibility has been confirmed in writing by a Bates Corporation representative.
Pricing & Payment
All prices are listed in U.S. Dollars (USD) and are subject to change without notice. Bates Corporation reserves the right to correct any pricing, typographical, or listing errors and to cancel orders placed at incorrect prices. Applicable sales tax will be added to orders as required by law.
Accepted Payment Methods
Bates Corporation accepts multiple forms of payment for customer convenience, including major credit cards and other approved payment methods. All payments must be made in U.S. Dollars (USD). Orders will not be processed or shipped until payment has been received and approved. Bates Corporation reserves the right to modify accepted payment methods, request additional verification, or decline a payment method at its discretion.
Orders & Order Acceptance
Receipt of an order confirmation does not constitute acceptance of an order. Bates Corporation reserves the right to accept, decline, cancel, or limit any order at its discretion due to inventory availability, pricing errors, suspected fraud, or other circumstances beyond our control.
Shipping & Delivery
Shipping charges are calculated after parts are packaged due to the size, weight, and handling requirements of tractor parts. Orders are shipped Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. While we strive to ship orders as quickly as possible, shipment timing is not guaranteed. Bates Corporation is not responsible for carrier delays, incorrect shipping information provided by the customer, or circumstances beyond our control once the shipment has been tendered to the carrier.
International Shipping
Bates Corporation ships internationally to many destinations. Most international orders are shipped via UPS Worldwide Express or UPS Worldwide Expedited. We also offer USPS Priority Mail International and USPS Priority Mail Express International for eligible shipments.
Customers are solely responsible for any brokerage fees, customs duties, taxes, import fees, or other charges required for delivery in their country. These fees are not included in the product price or shipping charges and are determined by the destination country’s customs authority.
Shipping Damages & Shortages
Customers are responsible for inspecting their shipment immediately upon arrival. No allowances will be made for shortages or damages unless Bates Corporation is notified within seven (7) days of receiving the order. When reporting an issue, customers must provide the invoice date and invoice number.
If damage occurs during transit, all evidence of damage must be retained, including the shipping container, packaging materials, and damaged items. Do not discard any materials. Customers should contact the transportation company immediately to request a damage claim tag.

Warranty Policy
All parts sold by Bates Corporation are covered by a one-year limited warranty from the date of purchase unless otherwise stated in writing. This warranty covers defects in materials or workmanship under normal operating conditions. The limited warranty does not cover failures caused by improper installation, misuse, abuse, neglect, unauthorized modification, contamination, or use outside the intended application.
Warranty & Incorrect Part Returns
All warranty claims and incorrect part returns must be authorized by Bates Corporation prior to return. Returned items must be accompanied by a copy of the original invoice. Warranty returns will not be accepted more than twelve (12) months from the date of purchase. Credit for customer-paid shipping costs will be issued only for valid warranty claims approved by Bates Corporation. All returned parts are subject to inspection before any credit, replacement, or refund is issued.
Core Charges & Core Returns
Certain products require a core return. Core credits are issued only after the returned core has been received and approved. Core returns submitted more than ninety (90) days after purchase are subject to a fifteen percent (15%) restocking fee, and returns submitted more than one hundred eighty (180) days after purchase are subject to a thirty percent (30%) restocking fee.
Core Return Requirements
All cores must be fully drained of fluids and must be the exact part originally purchased. Cores must be complete, assembled, unmodified, and in rebuildable condition, and returned in the original packaging. Once accepted, cores become generic inventory for rebuilding purposes and cannot be returned to the customer. Shipping charges for core returns are the responsibility of the customer and are non-refundable.
Limitation of Liability
Bates Corporation shall not be responsible for labor costs, downtime, loss of use, lost profits, or incidental or consequential damages. Liability for any claim shall be limited to the original purchase price of the product.
Installation Disclaimer
Professional installation is recommended. Bates Corporation is not responsible for damage or failure resulting from improper installation or incorrect application.
Intellectual Property
All website content is the property of Bates Corporation and may not be reproduced or used without written permission.
Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana.
