SHIPPING

Domestic shipping -- Bates Corporation ships every weekday, excluding holidays, at 5:00 p.m. All orders will ship prepaid with shipping charges added to your invoice.  We strive to be able to ship the same day, but depending on the order and freight schedule it is possible it may take another day.  Most orders will ship via UPS.  Next Day Air, Second Day Air, and Third Day Select services are available on most orders to all places in the continental United States. Saturday Delivery is available in most of the Continental United States when accompanied by Next Day Air Service, please call for availability.  If you would like USPS on smaller orders, understand it may be less expensive, but it may take 2-5 days longer to receive your parts.  We ship all orders with a tracking number.  Items which are oversized or over 150 pounds will be sent motor freight collect. All shipping charges are additional. If you are sending your payment with your order, please call us for shipping charges. 

International shipping --  Most orders will ship via UPS Worldwide Express or UPS Worldwide Expedited.  Also available is USPS Priority Mail International and USPS Priority Mail Express International.  Customer is responsible for any Brokerage Fees, Customs Fee, or any other fees that is necessary for delivery of the shipment to their location.  

Shortages and Damages

No allowances will be made for shortages or damages unless we are notified within seven days of receiving, giving the invoice date and invoice number.

Shortages usually result from:

Articles being overlooked and discarded with the packing material.

Merchandise being removed before contents are checked in.

Damage, pilferage, or loss in transit for whcih you should IMMEDIATELY notify the transportation company.

If damages occur in transit, retain all evidence of damage including packaging and damaged articles, DO NOT discard, contact transportation company for damage claim tag.
