Payments are processed securely through trusted third-party payment providers. Bates Corporation does not store full payment card information on our servers.

5. Shipping & Delivery

Domestic Shipping

Bates Corporation ships orders every weekday (Monday through Friday) at 5:00 p.m. EST, excluding holidays. All orders ship prepaid, with shipping charges added to your invoice. We strive to ship the same day your order is placed, but depending on order size, part availability, or carrier schedules, shipment may be delayed by one business day.

Most orders are shipped via UPS. We offer the following UPS services:

  • Next Day Air
  • Second Day Air
  • Third Day Select

Saturday Delivery is available in most areas of the continental United States when combined with UPS Next Day Air. Please call us to confirm availability before placing your order.

USPS shipping is available for smaller orders. While it may be a more cost-effective option, please note that USPS shipments may take an additional 2–5 days for delivery.

Every order includes a tracking number. Oversized items or shipments weighing over 150 pounds will be sent via motor freight collect. All shipping charges are additional. If you are sending payment with your order, please call us in advance to confirm shipping costs.

International Shipping

Most international orders are shipped via UPS Worldwide Express or UPS Worldwide Expedited. We also offer USPS Priority Mail International and USPS Priority Mail Express International.

The customer is responsible for any brokerage fees, customs duties, taxes, or other fees required for delivery in their country.

Shortages and Damages

Please inspect your shipment upon arrival. No allowances will be made for shortages or damages unless we are notified within seven (7) days of receiving your order. When reporting an issue, please provide your invoice date and invoice number.

Common Causes of Shortages

  • Articles being overlooked or discarded with packing materials
  • Merchandise being removed before the shipment contents are checked in
  • Damage, pilferage, or loss in transit — which must be reported immediately to the carrier

Damaged Shipments

If damage occurs during transit, retain all evidence of damage — including packaging and damaged items. Do not discard any materials. Contact the transportation company immediately to request a damage claim tag.
